DAY 1: DESIGN

SUNDAY

"The Big Picture"
"Purge"

SUNDAY Event

You are renewed! On the first day of the week, it's important to take a look at the whole scope of creation, and see "The Big Picture" that is our collective experience, and how our individual roles impact the world around us. Clarity is needed before tackling the six days ahead, so today is a logical time to "purge" anything that is no longer serving you or your purpose. Excessive or toxic thought processes, relationships, household items and even clothes can truly clutter your mind and turn many aspects of life into "gray areas." If something hasn't positively impacted your life in the past six months (and isn't a seasonal object), let it go and be free.

We can't forget to fellowship with equally yoked and like- minded believers on this day, because outside of the body of Christ, there are many distractions that bombard us each minute. Take a look in the mirror and evaluate if the "design" of your life (the patterns and activities that take up the most time) is truly lining up with your God given passion and purpose. Make sure that you are tending to yourself because in order to serve other entities (job, family, friends...) your individual cup must be filled before it can "run over." Think and act holy in all of life's segments: SPIRIT, FLESH, and SOUL. (READ PSALMS 119 OUT LOUD)

Nun
105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet
and a light for my path.
106 I’ve promised it once, and I’ll promise it again:
I will obey your righteous regulations.
107 I have suffered much, O LORD;
restore my life again as you promised.
108 LORD, accept my offering of praise,
and teach me your regulations.
109 My life constantly hangs in the balance,
but I will not stop obeying your instructions.
110 The wicked have set their traps for me,
but I will not turn from your commandments.
111 Your laws are my treasure;
they are my heart’s delight.
112 I am determined to keep your decrees
to the very end.
Samekh
113 I hate those with divided loyalties,
but I love your instructions.
114 You are my refuge and my shield;
your word is my source of hope.
115 Get out of my life, you evil-minded people,
for I intend to obey the commands of my God.
116 LORD, sustain me as you promised, that I may live!
Do not let my hope be crushed.
117 Sustain me, and I will be rescued;
then I will meditate continually on your decrees.
118 But you have rejected all who stray from your decrees.
They are only fooling themselves.
119 You skim off the wicked of the earth like scum;
no wonder I love to obey your laws!
