It's tax season... so in order to hold myself accountable (and hopefully inspire others, as well) I am recording my rough budget that I plan to stick to for the next year (despite the amount of money that I am bringing into the home.) Also, I plan to spend even less monthly in the next five years, as the rates of some categories should decrease as more payments are changes are made. As exceptions to the rule, there are also expected: emergencies, events to attend (and sometimes to politely decline), a wedding to plan, and eventual off- springs.

MONTHLY BUDGET:

TITHES/OFFERINGS $40

RENT $725

CAR NOTE $230

GAS $110

CAR INSURANCE $150

PHONE BILL $200

FOOD $200

GYM MEMBERSHIP $30

DENTAL $147

CREDIT CARD $50

HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES $20

PERSONAL UPKEEP $150

EXAM FEES $210

INTERNET $55

PET $50

DATES $50

TOTAL: $2,417 SPENT PER MONTH (SAVE THE REST!)
